4 Essentials for Internships

Our internships are advertised on an ongoing basis on the adidas website. You are welcome to apply for up to five internship openings. However, it is important that you limit your applications to one functional area so that we can see a common thread and submit individual cover letters for each role. We recruit one year in advance.

We have gone totally digital when it comes to applications. Please send your applications via our career site. Unfortunately we cannot accept applications via email or post.

Your application consists of

  • a one-page cover letter
  • Your CV
  • Record of achievement from study program
  • Any internship or work experience references/confirmation (optional)

Language-wise, you can use the same language as the job posting. However, you are normally on the right track if you write your application in English.

Please note that when you are applying for a design internship keep your portfolio simple with your project highlights., show the full process including sketches and insert your personality.

Address your application to „Dear adidas team“. Once we have received your application documents, you will get an automatic acknowledgement of receipt. Please check your Spam folder in case you did not receive an acknowledgement. We begin the final selection once the application deadline has passed. You will get feedback latest 2-3 weeks after the application deadline, mentioned in the job posting.

Our application process for internships consists of three stages:

  • Online Application
  • Telephone/video interview and/or
  • Personal interview

In the interviews (a video interview, a phone interview, and/or Skype interview with a hiring manager) we would like to get to know you better and to learn more about your motivation for applying for this specific internship. Prepare yourself for the interviews by doing some research in advance about adidas and the internship you applied for so you can convince us that you are the right candidate.. If your interview is in person all the travelling expenses are reimbursed. Whatever the outcome, you will hear from us as soon as we have interviewed all candidates, usually within one to two weeks after the interview. Please note that here is no individual feedback beforehand.
