What's it like working at adidas Strasbourg?

Our main office is located in the Alsace region, at Strasbourg, the "capital of Europe". adidas France moved in April 2018 to the new international business district of Strasbourg-Archipel. In the heart of the city, close to the best sports facilities in town and in front of the European Parliament.

The location offers easy access to sports activities and cultural center of the city. Called STRAS', the company's new headquarter in France covers an area of 4,800 m². This office benefits from workspaces to receive customers, partners, and assets, but also from living spaces to promote conviviality, sports practice and strengthen the well-being of employees. We're also committed to developing responsible corporate citizenship and encourage our employees to participate in our different programs to make life our Core Believe.
adidas France has signed the Diversity French Charter and was honored by Great Place to Work & Happy Trainees labels.

Through sport, we have the power to change lives

More than 15 sports activities are practiced in adidas France, and some of them include Basketball, Running, Yoga, Crossfit, Football, Tennis, Fitness, and Badminton. These activities build a real team spirit between employees who don't necessarily work together on a daily basis. It also allows them to find their private and professional life balance since they can practice sports when they want.

At adidas, we have a core belief: "Through sport, we have the power to change lives." On a daily basis, our employees have the opportunity to bring it to life either through the practice of sports activities offered in the Strasbourg and Paris offices or by taking part in our company's solidarity and social commitments in the fields of the environment, education, and sports.

Careers without Borders

In external recruitment, hard skills are for us as vital as soft skills since we not only project ourselves with the new hire in the short term but also in the medium to long-term. That's why we regularly organize - for external recruitment sessions - assessment center or vitamin recruitment sessions to have a global vision of the applicant’s skills. The aim is also to have more diversity of our profiles.

Furthermore, 80% of our recruitments are used to be filled by internal applicants, that's why we set up a career path workspace, and give our employees more visibility on the potential opportunities in France - a short job rotation enables internal exposure to other projects, resulting in more discovery and growth.

Pioneering the Future of Work

Besides our French headquarter located in Strasbourg, we have a fantastic "embassy" in the center of Paris. Following the example of our French HQ facilities and in “Parisian fashion,” the facilities offer everything you need to work while taking pride in our brands.

Both offices reflect the modern interior design and offer space in line with a young atmosphere and the dynamism of sports, adopting agile and flexible working style. There’s a lounge area for creative meetings, informal spaces, corners for relaxing and reading are available for all employees.

Join us, and you’ll get to experience an open, bright, informal workspace and atmosphere that combines style and sports inspiration with function and respect for the environment.

Sport Needs a Place

We are convinced that with sports, everyone can improve their professional and personal lives. We believe that through sport, we have the power to change lives. adidas has committed to two charity associations in France, Siel Bleu and Unis Vers le Sport.

To allow our consumers and sports fans the opportunity to join us in our charity mission, we're implementing the initiative L'arrondi by Microdon, in our stores across France. The approach is rather simple: we are offering the possibility to our consumers to donate.

Our objective is to help Siel Bleu shine. Siel Bleu develops adapted sports programs for the elderly and people affected by chronic diseases or disabilities. Every week, 100,000 people participate in these programs all around the country. Siel Bleu Foundation has two priorities: facilitate the accessibility of the programs and improve research on sport-health by physical activities.

Unis Vers le Sport aims to implement educational programs and attachment to a sport in the less favored areas of Strasbourg and the region. At the same time, the association promotes accessibility of education and sports in developing countries. Solidarity, work, compassion, sharing, and respect, are part of the educational values through local and international projects.
