Careers without borders
“We are delighted that the Top Employers Institute has decided to recognize our commitment to optimizing employee experience in China for the sixth consecutive year,” said Colin Currie, Managing Director of adidas Greater China.
adidas is strongly committed to providing the best experience for employees, developing their talents and inspiring them through the “3Cs” principles of Creativity, Confidence and Collaboration. Aimed at fostering a winning culture and encouraging ethical work practices, this commitment has been fundamental in recent years to adidas’ success in attracting, optimizing and retaining talent.
As a leading global company with a diversified and inclusive culture, adidas also offers a variety of career development opportunities and training programs for talents from junior to senior level.
Guided by its core belief that “through sport we have the power to change lives,” employees are encouraged to embrace sport and lead healthy lifestyles. The company provides free access to sporting facilities in the office and organizes activities including badminton, swimming, basketball, football and yoga, etc. Employees are also encouraged to engage with local communities through a range of sports-based CSR initiatives aimed at helping communities to live better lives.
To build the best workplace for employees, adidas’ monthly global employee feedback survey, People Pulse, meanwhile provides a valuable outlet for employees to make their voice heard, allowing adidas to quickly implement changes and continuously improve the employee experience.
Pioneering the future of work
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become a key pillar of our sustainable growth strategy in China. adidas China strives to make a difference in the communities where it operates by supporting programs that truly meet local needs; embedding environmental sustainability in all products, processes and services; managing risks and social compliance; extending engagement internally and externally; and creating the best and most productive workplace.
To better manage our CSR performance, we have goals in two key impact areas: 1) environment and 2) social community investment. The environment KPIs include energy saving, carbon saving, water saving, municipal waste reduction and paper saving. For community investment targets, we have our own China goals that include both external goals (social impact) and internal goals (employee participation and motivation).
