Manager, Operation Planning & Analysis

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • To develop operations excellence analytics & drive next level of ecom operations thru data facts & analysis with cross functional team for post order service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Analytics

  • Define the operations KPI & benchmarking markets
  • Define all data source & drive single source of truth
  • Develop dashboard & reporting to support business tracking on daily/weekly/basis
  • Identify the operations risk & opportunity thru data insights & communicate to the key stakeholders


  • Collaborate with cross functions to drive actions & alignment on optimizations & issues fixing
  • Work with digital Hub to define the capabilities & tools to enable the analytics
  • To identify & search new data tools/data services in the market to support business 
  • Work with TMALL team to collect market information & drive collaboration

Data System & Processes

  • Define efficient data collection process to enhance platform data usage
  • Define way of working to drive collaboration with cross functional team on daily/weekly/monthly basis

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid data analysis experience related to KPI of store operations & customer service & warehouse management 
  • Solid experience on driving data automation & visualization with IT/Vendors
  • Data driven style & able to drive meeting with business team for actions & alignment 
  • Good English in both oral & written, presentable
  • Big data (modeling) capability using SPSS, SQL, python, etc is a plus
  • Team player, demonstrating interests in training, coaching and motivating subordinates
  • Business acumen, especially for e-commerce
  • Communication skills, relationship management and empathy

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  Professional background / Experience

  • Functional: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in digital operation data analytics for official site or TMALL/JD platform
  • Background: ecommerce or online business experience  
  • Industry: Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or internet 


  • University degree in business with Information Management/Statics/Computing, etc

IT skills

  • Access/Excel: Advanced
  • PowerPoint: Good
  • SQL/SPSS/Python: Advanced
  • Tableau: Plus

Language skills

  • Native-level Mandarin and fluent English required
  • Good Presentation Skills to transfer data fact to story in English
