Senior Manager Production Planning 1

Responsible for Sourcing Planning of Print Business including “Make vs. Buy” allocation, and for leading Planning of Apparel suppliers in USA/Canada with focus on strategy execution, capacity management, fill-rate reports and KPI’s based performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Apparel Sourcing Americas in leading the relationship with BUs (including Product Marketing and Planning teams), Brand Sourcing, Demand Planning and Purchasing for the Print Business (House of Blanks, Locker Room program and others)
  • Obtain, through close collaboration with key interfaces, the Demand signal of Print Business and take ownership in managing its evolution, deploying strong analytics to recommend allocation in accordance with Sourcing strategic roadmap
  • Contribute in updating Sourcing strategy for Print Business, combining holistic view from market with capabilities on the suppliers’ footprint
  • Disseminate Sourcing strategy through key interfaces (BUs, Demand Planning, Purchasing, etc.) to ensure end-to-end process effectiveness, from strategic allocation to tactical fine tune when approaching season production
  • Raise on timely manner to key stakeholders and Sourcing senior team issues that can compromise allocation plan
  • Collaborate with Strategy & Project teams to improve end-to-end process of Print Business as new systems, process and organizations developments are implemented
  • Provide a consolidated overview of the COO USA/Canada Apparel Suppliers’ performance and issues, working with LO Americas teams and suppliers on solutions and proper communication
  • Support LO Planning and HK Sourcing Ops teams in identifying needed T1 capacity and capabilities according to customer business projection
  • Act as point person for GSP and SCI for Print Business and Sourcing Country USA/Canada to ensure communication and actions are directed to LO and Suppliers
  • Under controlled time allocation, oversee the process of order management across LO and COO USA/Canada to ensure that orders are confirmed and tracked in accordance with process
  • Under controlled time allocation, support new T1 start-up documentation and process, as well as Supplier Terminations
  • Under controlled time allocation, support training to NAM Supplier’s planning teams and suppliers on policies and systems such as GPS, ILA and other systems pertaining to planning, ordering/tracking, documentation and invoicing.

  1. University diploma or degree from educational entity preferably in related fields (i.e. Production Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain)
  2. Minimum 6 years of professional experience (full-time job)
  3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Business Planning functions
  4. Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading interface with senior stakeholders
  5. Project Management experience
  6. Consumer goods/ Sports industry experience is a plus
