Senior Manager Digital Partner Commerce: e-Marketplaces

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • You will focus on the eMarketplace landscape across Europe, analyzing where our brands are currently being sold & assessing which platforms we should be partnering with in the future
  • Working closely with the clusters in Europe to better understand the local market dynamics, you will drive the European strategy with regards to how we go to market with eMarketplaces

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Mapping the market across Europe, focussed on eMarketplaces & determining with which platforms we would want to partner to ensure that we continue our brand growth momentum
  • Liaising with Platform Development DPC to ensure that the eMarketplace strategy ties into the overall European DPC assessment
  • Collaborating with Global DPC, seek to drive consistency in our commercial & operational approach with global eMarketplaces
  • Work with the Sales Development & Strategy team to evaluate the European digital landscape and define a clear go to market plan with respect to ranging, content & execution
  • Understanding the cluster specific market dynamics & what role each respective eMarketplace plays within that ecosystem, leading to a recommendation of how we as a brand should interact with them, if at all
  • Exploring different logistical, operational & commercial models through which we could interact with different eMarketplaces across Europe
  • In conjunction with DPC Analytics, regularly reporting back to the business our sales performance across all eMarketplaces in Europe, with clarity around key business drivers & also future projected sales performance
  • Evaluating how we can leverage existing content & digital imagery resources to enhance the presentation of our brand across the eMarketplace ecosystem, with the aim of maximising consumer experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years professional experience with eMarketplaces or e-Commerce (combination of brand’s own eCom and - preferred)
  • Experience partnering directly with eMarketplaces across Europe
  • A proven ability to enhance visibility & sales of a brand(s) across leading eMarketplaces in Europe
  • Extremely strong organizational and planning skills - flexibility to handle multiple tasks and business partners
  • Extremely strong Powerpoint skills required coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses.  The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from financial data, improving financial and business processes, and solving problems
  • Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input in investment review
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business processes (interest in technical and business eCommerce projects a must)
  • Quick to learn new systems and tools
  • Ability to work in deadline driven environment
  • Fluency in English is required; another European language would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working in an international environment
  • Proactive mindset, showcasing initiative and relentless tenacity to achieve results
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively
