Senior Manager Consumer Insights

Management: • Lead ad-hoc consumer researches projects upon business needs and strategic focuses • Manage all aspects of cooperation with agencies and ensure a smooth and efficient implementation of the projects • Full Consumer Insight support and consultancy to Category GM and teams providing marketing with recommendations to ensure high performance • Provide leadership and expertise in cross-functional communication with Brand/Retail Marketing teams that ensure contribution around the scope and deliverables of the projects • Monitor relevant projects and provide transparency of performance for the business • Analytical support is expected in the following areas: media performance, assets evaluation, brand health, retail initiatives, key takeaways of sales/product performance based on information from relevant departments  • Lead translation of insight into actionable, business-driving strategies through critical interpretation of data and strategic thinking • Lead continuous evaluation of consumer, market, economy, industry and competitor trends  • Run ad-hoc landscape assessment to identify growth/ by-channel opportunities • Identify and implement innovative data solutions to uncover new insights • Maintain reporting processes to VP and organization • Sustain high level of team performance Planning: • Develop the annual plan for marketing research projects based on marketing plan of adidas and Reebok brands, strategic projects • Be capable to run research projects in strict timelines or/and within limited budget Financial: • Ensure appropriate and ethical use of budget • Ensure all projects and relevant documents are created and provided in accordance with internal politics and procedures • Be accountable for Consumer Insights budget

Experience:

• Functional – Over 5 years of proven marketing research experience at a research firm. Experience both in consumer and shopper insights as a plus • Industry – Market research firm / brand company with a focus on sports wear / apparel / FMCG • Able to think out of the box and willing to try different research approaches • Able to conceptualize and build an analytic plan, design questionnaires, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Demonstrated experience in quantitative, qualitative research and statistical/analytical techniques • Flexible and nimble - can adapt to changing priorities • Exposure – Research, sports, marketing, trade marketing
