Senior Manager Commercial Strategy Europe (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:< <

Contribute to developing and driving the Commercial Strategy and priorities for Market Europe, within guardrails of the Global Strategic Business Plan and Global Sales Strategy across all brands, channels and clusters/ countries.< Support the execution of the Commercial Strategy and its principles by managing key strategic projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the Commercial Strategy across brands, channels, clusters/countries and functions for Market Europe, ensuring a seamless integrated omnichannel approach<
  • Support commercial business planning for the future 2-5-year period, including analysis and modelling (e.g., business simulation, revenue projection, market share development)<
  • Drive and/or support initiatives, projects and programs for Commercial Europe for constant improvement of the business set-up of all Commercial channels across Market Europe<
  • Support and ensure excellence in execution of the Commercial Strategy and priorities for Europe<
  • Closely collaborate with Business Development and Market Intelligence Team to gather relevant insights from customer, consumer, marketplace, channels and geographies<
  • Together with the Senior Director Commercial Strategy act as a key liaison towards Market Europe Business Development and various departments of Global Sales <
  • Actively participate in global project teams of cross functional projects when relevant<
  • Support communication of a consistent narrative on the Commercial Strategy through the organization by securing alignment with Internal Comms<  < Key Relationships: < < <
  • Market Europe: Wholesale Europe, Retail/Franchising Europe, DBC Europe, Business Development, Finance, GMs and Sales Directors in Clusters<
  • Global: Global Sales and Business Development<

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: < <

  • First experience developing and executing long- and short-term strategies/ strategic plans based on thorough understanding of market conditions and trends<
  • Strong communication skills – ability to communicate strategies to executive level management. Excellence in developing logical, simple to understand and convincing presentations <
  • Mature and credible interpersonal skills (e.g. influencing, networking, negotiation skills) – able to quickly build trust among all management levels and act as a galvanizer and influencer across the organization<
  • Commercial knowledge and business acumen <
  • Ability to apply a strategic mindset and curiosity to embrace innovation and marketplace trends and reflect them into future business opportunities for the business
  • Ability translate strategic levers into operational plans
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. Business planning, strategic development)<
  • Mental flexibility, adaptability, initiative and determination<
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are a benefit<  < <

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: < <

  • Degree in business administration or similar subject<
  • Business: min 3-5 years of relevant work experience in different sales functions (Key Accounts, Field, Sales Coordination etc.)<
  • Experience in managing projects<
  • Industry: sporting goods/ retail/ consumer goods< <
