Sales Operations Analyst - Wholesale (16 Month Contract)

  • To support the wholesale sales business with all things related to sell-thru data, focusing on building and maintaining dashboards that provide key insights to support sell-thru in accounts.  Further, the Analyst should support additional projects such as, but not limited to: onboarding of new Canadian accounts onto SPS, Micro-strategy training and support, Omni Channel launch reporting, market data and insights, ownership of systems setup & development of annual training plan.

Key Responsibilities (Functional):  

  • Development and maintenance of SPS dashboards for priority accounts in Canadian marketplace to drive fact-based sell-in, including all internal/external training
  • Lead all data validation for new customers onboarded to SPS
  • Development and management of additional weekly reporting needs to supplement SPS dashboards for priority customers – FGL, Foot Locker, HBC
  • Ownership of sell-thru data collection and communication on key brand launches across DTC/Wholesale (Omni Channel)
  • Lead Micro-strategy training and ongoing reporting support for all Sales, as SME for all things related Micro-strategy
  • Liaise with NAM colleagues monthly to ensure alignment across all touch points and to ensure best practice sharing across our shared border
  • Ownership & development of Door Mapping tool, in order to track locations of all WHS and DTC doors
  • Lead development, communication and implementation of annual training plan for WHS team, with support from Global Sales Academy
  • Support in developing and maintaining employee onboarding process for new hires within WHS team
  • Ownership of monthly Sales Development communications to the WHS team to consolidate updates and action items
  • Ownership of back end system integration to improve efficiency, ensure accuracy and integrity of data (SAH table, WFS Process, etc.)
  • Other projects & tasks as directed by Sr. Manager Sales Ops

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to operate cross-functionally, join data from various sources and develop creative and innovative solutions within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, good understanding and experience with retail math and retail financial drivers and comfort with Finance and/or Accounting principles
  • Highly advanced skills in Excel, Microstrategy and SAP with specific expertise in building pivot tables and macros.
  • Ability to think cross functionally and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to be detail oriented and accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, sales representatives, peers, clients, and customers.
  • Expert understanding of Canadian market consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of cross functional experience in sales, merchandising/product and finance planning required
  • Bachelors in related field required (Finance or Business)
  • Great understanding of Finance, Logistics and Retail Sales/Math
  • Industry: ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence and think strategically
  • Previous experience managing in a global matrix organization required
  • Highly advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Passionate about sports & fitness
