ecommerce Omnichannel Operations Specialist

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As part of the eCommerce Digital Operations team focused on the Canadian Market, you will be supporting the Omnichannel fulfillment services for (both Brands). With a strong focus on driving collaboration across many functions, this role is critical to the overall success of the CA eCom business by maximizing the efficient operation across the entire order cycle and many fulfillment services to deliver value for our consumers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience with eCommerce systems, a fundamental understanding of systems architecture commonly used in eCommerce operations (preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud & IBM Sterling OMS
  • Post-Order operations
  • A clear understanding of business levers which impact eCommerce commercial success, conversion rate, traffic, average order value and how to positively impact each of these.
  • Business process analysis skills-ability to define problems, analyse analytics data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and propose solutions
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal)
  • Stays cool in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive attitude and attention to detail
  • Intermediate in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Support in monitoring full order lifecycle to ensure seamless consumer experience, and following up on exceptions as identified
  • Work with retail teams, franchise partners, wholesale partners, and supply chain teams to support in investigation operational performance and SLA achievement, focused on resolving issues where identified
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process and operational improvements in partnership with market and global teams
  • Support the wider Operations team to ensure overall team success and smooth operations
  • Provide input to global teams to support the development and implementation of new consumer experiences and operational enhancements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with CMS systems, a fundamental understanding of system architecture commonly used in eCommerce operations (preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud & IBM)
  • Prior experience in the execution of Omnichannel fulfillment services in an eCommerce setting
  • Capable to work with cross-functional digital teams and IT
  • Degree or Diploma in Commerce/Marketing Management or Web Applications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive work experience with content management Systems – Preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud (also known as Demandware) or other eCommerce platforms, SaaS platforms
  • Working knowledge of the Apparel and/or sports industry an asset

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University level degree
  • 2 years of working experience
