Shanghai | Greater China | Retail (Back Office)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Manage planning in providing analysis, insight and timely communication to support the business

Play a critical role in line planners’ partnership activities with merchandising team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Season:

    • Lead the partnership with merchandising team to develop buy plan (OTB) per store according to buying strategy, financial target, and historical analysis.

    • Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for pre-season buying structures at store level.

    • Monitor actual bought vs. buy plan.

  • In-Season:

    • Lead in the process to provide ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis e.g.:- sales, best seller, MD, etc.

    • Provide in season performance tracking reports

    • Maintain & Monitor compliance of pre-season buy and net sales forecast

  1. Co-work with Merchandising team to maximize in season sell-thru

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Integrated business plan (3 years) merchandising demand plan based on direction

•          Systems and Processes:
    • Participate in the development of the database and tools

•          Training:
  1. Participate in / cascade systems training

  • People management:

  1. Lead, manage, develop, coach team member

    Key Relationships:

Internal: Merchandising, Retail operation team, Visual Merchandising, Retail Excellence, Retail Expansion, Finance, IT

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising environment

  • University advanced degree
