Manager, Platform Project, Direct to Consumer - ecommerce

The goal of the eCommerce (eCom) team is to deliver one integrated consumer journey to create a premium and seamless experience so that when a consumer leaves our touch point, we not only meet their expectations, but exceed them while meeting our targets.

Position Summary

The Platform Project Manager is the key role in the interaction with our consumers and the core element to drive the business growth and the Customer Experience. The key goal will be to support the consumer experience, partner program, digital marketing, and strategy & analytics teams by implementing projects according to the eCom strategy roadmap. As Platform Project Manager, you will drive continuous efficiencies through automation and optimization of the platform and system as well as implementation of new tools and technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage to successfully deliver the assigned project or RFC end-to-end, ideally through applying PMI methodology effectively
  • Ensure full understanding of project scope able to design detailed project plans
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan by effectively coordinating people and resources
  • Monitor and highlight any project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc) against the project plan and make suggestions to implement corrective or preventative actions
  • If required, support any changes for the respective project and ensure that changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits
  • Finalize all activities across the projects to formally close and hand over the projects, ensuring project documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately
  • Manage trainings to evangelize new tools and processes through the eCom team
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and evangelize adoption of new techniques and tools

  • Understand deeply eCommerce systems, Demandware, or other eCommerce platforms

  • Business mindset with very good numerical & analytical skills, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, creating efficiencies and economies of scale
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, an excellent organizational and planning skills and an improvement-focused mind able to challenge the norm
  • Able to cope well with ambiguity and uncertainty, be detail-oriented, manage multiple priorities under tight timelines, adapt quickly to changing business processes and business partners, translate business needs into IT requirements and designs for IT solutions, and lead, influence & gain cooperation from individuals aside from solid reporting line
  • Good communication (both in writing and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups), especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Good business acumen, strong IT background, can-do attitude, high attention to details, and aptitude for learning
  • Consumer focused and industry specific experience preferred
  • Able to travel domestically and/or internationally as required

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, IT, or related areas
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in eCommerce and experience extensively in eCommerce platforms and systems
  • Ideally have experience of working internationally and in settings requiring cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Experience of defining a longer term roadmap for optimization across eCommerce business
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent English skills and Fluent Japanese preferred

就業時間:9:30-18:00(休憩1時間、フレックスタイム制あり)

休日:土日、祝日

残業:あり

基本給:年600万円~1000万円

ボーナスターゲット:基本給の10%(1月から12月の業績・評価を基に翌年3月に支給。入社日に応じて期間按分あり)

年収備考:管理監督者としての勤務となるため時間外勤務手当及び休日勤務手当は支給対象外となります。
