Purpose:

Develop, implement, govern and manage local Compensation, Benefits and Cross Border Employment tools, programmes and processes for assigned countries as well as contribute to global Compensation, Benefits and Cross Border Employment tools, programmes and processes. Both so that our employees are paid competitively and gender neutrally and meet the needs of our employees in all generations to create moments that matter and reasons to join and stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grading & Benchmarking
    • Execute purchase and execute submission to local surveys and contribute to creating compensation benchmark for a position or a group of positions. ConsultcHRBP’s on the results.
    • Enable/create Comp package proposals for HRBP’s/ Line Management
    • Perform, review and consult on grading for HRBP’s
    • Prepare and propose salary bands per assigned countries
  • Short-Term incentives
    • Execute and implement global STI target structure for assigned countries, administer mapping of employees and ensure upload in the system
    • Execute collection and support communication of local target achievement results
  • Design:
    • Definition, design and maintenance of local Compensation, Benefits concepts and policies within global frameworks, including creation and updating policy documents as well as input for the required works council agreements where applicable
    • Implement, improve, and communicate local Compensation, Benefits and global Compensation, Benefits & Cross border employment programs and projects
    • Collaborate with GBS/HR Services to enable excellent administration of Compensation, Benefit policies, tools and processes where applicable. Partner with local HR Administration and Payroll to ensure flawless administration of Compensation, Benefits and Cross Border Employment programs and processes
  • Training, Communication and Change Management
    • Co-design and execute change management concepts for local, strategic and global Compensation and Benefits programs
    • Provide technical and process trainings to HR where applicable
    • Contribute to creation, preparation, delivery of  local/individual communication on global, local and strategic Comp & Benefits programs
    • Upskill GBS/HR Services on local Compensation & Benefits programs where in scope
    • Upskilling of  local HRBP’s on global, local and strategic Compensation & Benefits programs
  • Compliance
    • Identification, translation and implementation of new local legal requirements for assigned countries
    • Accountable to ensure full compliance with legal, labour relations, tax and social insurance requirements for assigned countries
    • Interpretation and implementation of tariff/collective/statutory agreements and consequences for assigned countries
    • Definition and execution of locally relevant Rewards audit actions for assigned countries
    • Proactively tracking and follow up on audit action items

  • Excellent command of English language, additional MEA languages preferred
  • Working knowledge of MEA Rewards principles, regulations and policies and ability to integrate with broader HR policies and objectives
  • High level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally also with SAP-HR and excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms and international mindset
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to create effective, deep and successful working relationships across all levels of the organization

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • B.Sc. degree from reputational universities, Ms. degree would be an advantage.
  • 4+ years of Rewards experience in international matrix organizations with multi country MEA scope
  • Strong Project Management and process design experience
