Sr. Specialist, Reward (1year Contract)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:  

Support implementation and management of and administers rewards tools, programs and processes.  Handle employees’ compensation and benefits administration including payroll operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrates rewards tools and programs
  • Assists in the implementation of rewards tools, programs and processes
  • Supports analysis of market trends and developments in C&B-related areas
  • Contributes to continuous improvement for all Payroll, Compensation & Benefits processes, tools and programs
  • Plays a key role or works with accessibility to data of performance results, personal information, individual salary, individual employee relations and pre-information on critical changes in the organization through shared folders, KPI Scorecard, global and local emails, divisional meetings and team meetings which are available to roles of management and executive level (such as the Senior Leadership team)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Provides consultation services to HRM for rewards tools and programs.
  • Administrates standards for rewards processes (e.g. salary round, bonus round)
  • Provides administrative support to global Compensation & Benefits projects and initiatives
  • Provides support in ad hoc projects if necessary

Payroll

  • Executes monthly payroll and produces all related reports.
  • Processes pension contribution and benefits administration.
  • Administrates various insurance schemes which are currently in force and follow up with claims processing if required
  • Prepares tax filing documentations in accordance with relevant tax legislation.
  • Assist various annual projects like annual salary review, bonus calculations, performance appraisal & budgeting
  • Compile and generate monthly reports on regular basis and compile ad hoc statistics and reports

HRIS

  • Ensures HR system data integrity and validity within the area of service
  • Updates and maintains personnel data into SAP and create personal files to keep track of completed personal records.

  • Global HR CoE Rewards, mobility and eHR partners 
  • HRM Managers
  • Internal contacts within Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, Legal, Taxes
  • Governmental institutions and authorities
  • External consultants(Vendors)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent command of Korean and English language
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • High level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally also with SAP-HR and Internet.
  • Hard working detail-oriented.  Able to work independently and can work under pressure.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent education
  • 4+ years of overall work experience within Compensation & Benefits and/or Payroll Management.
  • University degree or equivalent education
  • Experience working in an international Company
