Manager Costing Analysis Footwear (6-month temp)

Main Purpose:

To support Costing organization to generate analytical reports, with a focus on current strategic initiative and data maintenance. This shall include systematic collection and analysis of cost data.

Key Responsibilities:

PME (Product Margin Enhancement) Tooling:

  • Manage seasonal Tooling Masterlist and After-Action Review – creation, feedback consolidation, follow-up/Q&A, and communication
  • Support automation requirement of Tooling Masterlist and AAR in TDM. Lead roll-out
  • Support eLC to-be process definition and facilitate requirement definition between aSL, LOC and T1.
  • Establish user manual, training manual and Q&A maintenance. Participate on Testing and coordination of issues
  • Costing Calendar maintenance – timeline of Masterlist and AAR

PME Materials Efficiency:

  • Support Nesting tool phase 2 roll-out (user manual update and follow-up of issues with LOC key users)
  • Support Nesting tool phase 3 development, testing and roll-out to LO/T1

P&P (Processes and Projects)  and SC&A ( Strategic Costing & Analytics):

  • Manage Cost Controlling milestone model selection by Category, consolidation and communication of result for FACT KPI
  • Support definition of process improvement and automation of possible
  • Continue development of Costing Sharepoint
  • Costing policy and SOPs maintenance and follow-up
  • Support Costing Audit preparation and result calculation for FACT KPI
  • Support Cost Standardization Follow-up and meeting arrangements with leads and MC

  • FTW BU Operations Lead
  • Costing Management Team in APP and A&G

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Fluency in English, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Access, Presentation) and proven ability to effectively use systems for data crunching
  • Strong ability to identify problems and draw the valid conclusion, always pro-active and solution driven mindset, ability to think end-to-end
  • Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter that continuously looks for improvement with limited supervision

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor Degree in finance or business related.
  • At least 5 years working experience in the relevant manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency knowledge of footwear manufacturing process would be an advantage
