Accountabilities: This role is responsible for providing visibility and transparency for Southeast Asia (SEA) Direct to Consumer (DTC) Buying metrics to maximize sales, profitability and brand equity of the DTC Organization. This function is expected to provide Merchandising Planning and Analysis for ORT & Franchise for SEA and drive fact-based decision making.Key Functional Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Director Buying to build, deliver & interpret regular (Daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/seasonal) category business & trading updates
  • Guide Buying team and provide strategic actions & recommendations based on analysis and trending for current & future buys regarding volume & distribution in order to maximize sales and profitability
  • Track, analyze, interpret and provide recommendations based on/for:
    • Market benchmarks and KPIs on productivity and sell thru
    • Improvement of space vs sales management across SEA
    • Forecast planning on Business Unit (BU) level, Net Sales, Margin, Average Selling Price (ASP)
    • Detailed category reports- In order to influence in-season & end of season markdown strategy
    • Product mix according to share of concept stores vs factory outlets, share of categories & distributions, gender mix, etc.
    • Provide guidance about selling patterns, future forecast trends vs sales, buying strategy and provide suggestion to ORT and Franchise Buying Team.
    • Identify trends in sales
  • Support the enhancement of all product planning systems and tools to suit world class merchandising practice across SEA
  • Drive store capacity planning processes for all stores across SEA
  • Influence and coordinate IBP (integrated business planning) with planning teams

  • Fluency in English

  • Exposure in managing multiple markets will be a plus

Industry:

  • Preferably in Sports apparel/ fashion/ FW or FMCG Retail

Education:

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • Merchandising/Retail Finance/ Business Analytics Experience: 5-8 years
  • Management Experience: 3 years
