Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:<
Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is responsible for the active management of the global CRE Portfolio including transaction, all design and construction for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas. This support the successfully implementation of “Creating the New” by supporting revenue growth, portfolio optimization and creating great workplaces to attract and retain top talent across the globe. To ensure a successful and sustainable Portfolio, CRE is collaborating with an extensive network of internal / external stakeholders and industry experts and providing value added service.
In this role you are expected to manage a Corporate Real Estate portfolio with your team and lead large-scale projects on a local or global level across brands and respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost and quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements.
Project Management< <Manage a Corporate Real Estate portfolio, lead business initiatives within your portfolio and lead successful your project manager within your team.< Lead successful large-scale building projects within a very complex environment and/or with an impact to the business, end-to-end from initiation until close out, up to 100M EUR.< Know our global strategy and ensure the work of your team contributes to its execution.< Execute against strategy through effective management of resources to deliver on project targets.< Implement new approaches and processes that drive profitability and/or operational excellence.< Drive team performance through setting clear expectations and priority management.< Foster team behaviour that drives learning and continuous improvement.< Support a standard procurement process and master service agreements/scope of work for architectural, engineering services and project management services.< Manage proposal and selection process for design and project management services. Negotiate appropriate contracts.< Direct the activities and monitor performance of designers and project managers.< Coordinate activities and communicate effectively with appropriate stakeholders and Regional Corporate Real Estate managers.< Develop construction budgets and schedules for projects and control cost, scope and time.< Build relationships and collaborate with leaders across functions for the development and optimization of standards, processes and best practices as well as the developing of the annual budget within your portfolio.< Implement and ensure compliance to CRE policy and project management standards.< Manage the change management approach and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.< Form and lead multi-functional project team resources (internals and externals) to deliver and support projects and programs< Identifying and developing talent and promoting team engagement.< <
< Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:< <Ability to manage a Real Estate portfolio and guide a project manager team< Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end< Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures< Business mindset: strong numerical and analytical skills, experience in finance< Strong experience to manage large-scale projects or several projects simultaneously on a global level< Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business< Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required< Fluent English skills (verbal and written)< Strong digital mindset and ability to use technology to drive operational excellence< <
< Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:< <Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Project Management or significant similar experience< 10 years in direct management of construction projects including budget control, estimating, design, construction coordination and project scheduling. Professional registration or other advanced training is preferred.< < <
