Purpose (Brief summary of why role exists):
The BOKS Area Coordinator will be involved in all stages of implementation and management of BOKS programs and will act as the primary point of contact within the field for all BOKS school & community partner programs in defined key markets. This role will manage new program activation and renewal of returning school programs while supporting all BOKS trainers & school administration over the course of the school year to ensure program integrity. This role will also ensure that all appropriate BOKS communications are delivered to schools and other community stakeholders and will conduct outreach and develop community awareness about BOKS as directed by the Field Operations & Program Manager.
Guide and support existing funded programs through the entire cycle of implementation including session planning timeline, document distribution & collection and logistical, programmatic, and administrative support to ensure optimum program success.
Organize pre-session orientation & training for any new and/or returning trainers and end of session debriefs.
Coordinate distribution of all relevant program materials, equipment, and apparel to schools and trainers.
Ensure schools adhere to all program requirements including registrations & collection of metrics using our Trainer Hub portal as well as collection of end of session program surveys.
Support school trainers through regular program visits, email, and phone support as necessary.
Under the direction of the Field Operations Manager, create and drive outreach strategy to support program growth within defined strategic markets (both funded and unfunded programs)

Develop relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the community (e.g. Superintendents, Department of Education, Mayors, School Committees, Political influencers)
Maintain open communication lines with school districts, school level officials, program funders and other key stakeholders
Identify potential local funding opportunities for underserved communities.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience working with school district level officials and teachers
Experience working in urban and/or underserved communities
Experience with community outreach
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Results driven self-starter with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passionate about children and health
Excellent computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Strong oral & written skills
Ability to excel in remote working environment
Ability to travel with accessibility to local schools during the before school time frame daily; reliable transportation is a must
Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
Experience working in the non-profit sector is a plus
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
2-3 years of proven experience in non-profit, health/fitness or school environment
Ability to perform a wide range of duties in a fast-paced, evolving environment
BOKS trainer experience a plus
