PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
To plan and execute advertising /new media initiatives and position adidas as the leading sports and street style brand in market through industry leading adverting/ new media communication strategies and implementation.
•Advertising and new media plans to build brand and drive sales
•Comprehension of brand communication concepts and directions to ensure excellent executions
•Strong ability to incorporate local market and audience insights into category planning and executions while in line with global/GCA guidelines
•Coordinates with adidas approval agencies to adapt marketing initiatives for locally relevant usage and ensures on time launch of campaigns at local level according to marketing calendar
•Develops close relationships with key & new media (offline and online):
Ensures that adidas is informed about any media opportunity and maintains a good understanding of media market
•Ensures maximization of understanding consumers and NPS TAs’ needs and insights in planning communication plans
•Works closely with Product and Sales departments to ensure planning and executions increase demand of the brand.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•University Degree or above. Preferably in marketing or communications related discipline
•At least 3-5 years marketing/media planning experience in a 4A’s advertising agency in the account department or in leading media agency or experience in a multi-national company in the marketing/brand communication department
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Understanding of media industry in Taiwan, especially in advertising, Internet, mobile programming, and digital media.
•Previous experience in advertising, digital, or mobile marketing in Taiwan
•Knowledgeable about sport fashion or street style is a plus
