Order Book Specialist

To execute all system & communication related activities ensuring that demand from European Distribution Centers will be fulfilled on time and in full (OTIF) according to wholesale customer requirements (e.g. availability creation, stock allocation, delivery note release etc.), whilst ensuring compliance to business prioritization rules required to operate stock sharing across channels on a Western European scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with and support other Order Fulfillment team and Inbound Planning, DC Planning and Inventory Management and Customer Fulfillment with the aim of driving OTIF delivery
  • Provide a consumer and customer centric service towards business stakeholders
  • Execute allocation, delivery note creation and backorder/season cleanse jobs against defined rules, schedule and monitor and report results
  • Execute mass sales order updates such as rejections for dropped articles or plant changes for migrations
  • Provide reporting transparency and analytics regarding orderbook performance, both actual/historical as well as projected performance to support decision making
  • Assist the internal teams with product launches
  • Review orderbook correctness ensuring data integrity processes through sales order maintenance
  • Act as key tester for all system release changes, keep test-scripts updated and document all processes & procedures in the Order Fulfillment Manual

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • A university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, information systems, logistics or operations preferred
  • Two to three years of work experience in supply chain management
  • Strong skills in ERP (SAP)/ Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work within different cultures and levels
  • Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
