Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Lead and coordinate the Procurement organization on a country level: • Accountable for country target setting in alignment with global and APAC Non-Trade Procurement goals • Accountable to implement global / market sourcing agreements on country level • Drive Procurement’s value contribution and excellent service while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes • Functional and managerial responsible for Procurement Specialists allocated to the country
• Manage and develop the country Procurement organization • Manage direct reports including target setting, performance review, and career and training development • Drive purchasing strategy and objectives by respective purchase category / field • Set goals and develop action plans for continuous improvement of non-trade purchasing process and performance • Develop/strengthen local non-trade procurement process and policies including vendor bidding and assessment, PO placement and tracking, vendor evaluation etc. in alignment with Global / Regional guidelines • Manage local purchasing process from vendor identification to evaluation for major items and supervise process for minor items • Recruit best in class people and provide people management guidance. • Lead, develop and retain talents and foster a high-performance culture to contribute to improving eNPS • Identify, recommend and qualify vendors, support development of non-standard vendor contracts • Work with business owners in vendor selection and negotiations (price and other terms) • Vendor performance evaluation and manage relationship with key vendors • Keep up to date with market trends, prices and developments • Carry out systematic review on cost effectiveness and quality of non-trade purchasing • Ensure transparency and openness in vendor bidding process, selection and evaluation • Together with Finance, assess financial stability and risk of potential vendors • Develop systematic processes for vendor updates and evaluations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High degree of knowledge in the field of purchasing with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred) • Experience in running complex, cross-functional processes effectively • High degree of responsibility and integrity • Strong interpersonal and influential skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Desire and ability to work closely and influentially with other members of senior Finance leadership team at Country / Cluster and Regional / Global level • Strategic thinking on non-trade purchase directions and good command of new trends and needs of evolving industry • Advanced abilities in the fields of employee engagement and performance management at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above preferably in Business Administration • At least 10 year experiences in purchasing management filed, ideally in consumer goods or apparel industry with at least 5-7 years’ experience holding management positions; multi-national company working experience is preferred • Proven track record in managing teams • Fluent English • Fluent in local (Market / Cluster) language preferably • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
