Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively elaborate, specify, test and roll-out a 5 year vision on new market driven business concepts, advanced technological solutions and sales support services with key customers to drive effectiveness and efficiency for all brands (adidas & Reebok) within Market
  • Address and solve cross-functional challenges and projects with high priority to Market
  • Coordinate requests regarding cross-functional process issues from Market departments and ensure solutions are provided
  • Align strategic priorities across management team and support global priorities
  • Coordinate go-to-market strategies between all brands (adidas and Reebok)
  • Assess the need and drive the change (in business processes and organizational evolution) to meet the needs of brands, markets, customers and consumers
  • Manage major cross-functional projects through:

    Creation of business cases to support requirements

    Definition of project management frameworks, deliverables and KPI’s

    Management of communication flow

    Delivering results and impact assessment

  • Support MD and management team in operational work
  • Develop and constantly improve the functional and inter-personal skills of the team (if applicable)
  • Set personal objectives, targets and guidelines and assess the results

  • Market Sales Directors (and Sales Management Team)
  • Market Marketing Directors (and Marketing Management Team)
  • Global Business Development Wholesale
  • Global IT, Operations, Retail, Marketing, Sales

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Business Development Manager with proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects ideally with Marketing or Sales or Operations experience
  • Strong strategic acting and high visionary thinking as well as operational skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills (if applicable)
  • High personal impact and high communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other language are an added plus

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience within large sales organization or in the consulting industry
  • Preferable experience in the sport or clothing wholesale industry
  • Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team (if applicable)
  • Business degree from leading business school
